Configurar boot

S.O. Windows XP Prof.SP3 - CPU Intel Celeron 346 3.06GHz - RAM 1GB

En el boot de mi Pc aparecen los siguientes dispositivos:
1st.boot device: [1st.floppy drive] diskette 1.44
2nd.boot device: [PM-ST380011A] .disco duro
3rd.boot device: [SM-HL-DT-ST DVERAM] lectora/grabadora DVD

En la parte derecha de la pantalla aparece la siguiente leyenda: A device enclosed in paranthesis has been disabled in the corresponding type menu.

Desde hace un mes aprox. cuando enciendo el PC el inicio del arranque se va directamente a la grabadora y trás 20 intentos aprox. termina arrancando.
Tengo que hacer algo en el BIOS setup utility

Posibles soluciones:

Si no tienes disquetera deshabilitalá en la bios,y pon el disco duro como primer dispositivo de arranque.
Guarda los cambios y si en el siguiente arranque vuelve a pasar,podría ser que la pila de la placa base esté gastada.
