Características: Windows XP Profesional Windows XP Professional SP2.
Buenos dias
Al intentar instalar el software: "Windows Desktop Search", ya sea la versión antigua 3, o la nueva 4, me aparece este mensaje de error durante la instalación: "Búsqueda en el escritorio de Windows 3.01 (en este caso la versión antigua) no pudo instalarse en el sistema. Error al instalar una actualización requerida. Para obtener más detalles, compruebe el archivo de registro. (C:\WINDOWS\KB915800.log)"
Si lo intento instalar desde Microsoft Update, se descarga, pero tampoco se puede instalar.
¿Qué solución existe para poder arreglarlo?

¿Y has mirado a ver que es lo que dice el log que te indica? | |

Te está diciendo que la versión de Windows Desktop Search no es compatible con tu versión de Windows. Intenta entrar a Windows Update y actualiza tu XP a SP3. | |
