3.0 2 gb ram 160 gb

hola me acabo de comprar un nuevo disco duro, un sata de 160gb cuando lo inicio el pc me esta apareciendo ese mensaje "reboot and select proper boot device...." que puede ser??? me meti a la bios y esta puesto como sata 1....

mira lo lei y esta todo bien conectado, lo que puede ser es que la plca sea antigua.....es una pc chips p25g v3.0.... me meto en la bios y lo reconoce como sata 1...... abra que cambiar algo en la bios????
en la bios hay una opcion que dice ONBOARD SATA-IDE disable, ide o raid....

da la opcion disable, ide o raid......no enable....
estaba puesto en ide y pasaba eso ahora puse disable y ahora no me detecta el disco...
